Nebioğlu stated in her post that a decision to suspend the enforcement has been made within the scope of the appeal process, and the determined compensation amount has been deposited as collateral in the enforcement file.

Emphasizing that her ongoing process has lasted for many years, Nebioğlu mentioned that her personal struggle, which she said has been ongoing for 38 years, has also been legally recognized by the court's decision, but the process has been prolonged due to the appeal.

Developments regarding the lawsuit are expected to gain clarity with the decision of the higher court.

WHAT HAPPENED?

Duygu Nebioğlu, one of the twin daughters born from the extramarital relationship of Yeşilçam actor Metin Akpınar with Suphiye Orancı in the 1980s, had filed a compensation lawsuit against Metin Akpınar on the grounds of "not accepting fatherhood" and "not fulfilling fatherly duties."

Nebioğlu, who recounted that she pursued her identity at the age of 21, said, "I conducted research to learn about my roots and identity. I applied to state institutions in the process of finding my mother and father. I learned that my mother sent a letter to the institution during my stay at the Child Protection Agency. That letter reached my sisters, and I learned there that Metin Akpınar is my biological father, after my mother Suphiye Orancı's statements. I was 21 years old at that time, a university student. This process has been very long, very deep, and I have dedicated my years to it."

"I STAYED IN THE CHILD PROTECTION AGENCY"

Nebioğlu, who pointed out that she lived with orphaned children for 6 years, stated, "I opened my eyes in the Child Protection Agency. I lived with orphaned children for 6 years. Those years were very tough. Dark rooms, hunger, poverty. The conditions of the late 1980s were very difficult. At the age of 6, I was adopted by physics teacher Özdemir Nebioğlu and his wife Emine Nebioğlu in Antalya. I also learned there that I had a twin sister. When the authorities said, 'We cannot separate twins,' we did not get separated from my sister. She became my first root bond. The biggest reason for this search of mine was being born as a twin."

"THE ONE-NIGHT STAND STATEMENT DESTROYED ME"

Nebioğlu expressed that the press statement saddened her greatly and emotionally devastated her, stating that one of the main reasons for filing the compensation lawsuit was Metin Akpınar referring to his relationship with her mother as a 'one-night stand.' She pointed out that this statement discredited her and her mother in front of society, saying, "It saddened me a lot that an artist would make such a statement; I became a target. For this reason, I filed a compensation lawsuit both for my childhood wounds and to uphold human dignity. The legal process continues with my lawyers. I have no request to meet with him; such a responsibility does not belong to me."

Master actor Metin Akpınar's biological daughter Duygu Nebioğlu won the lawsuit she filed on the grounds of not fulfilling fatherly obligations, obtaining a right to 6 million TL in emotional compensation.
