Allegedly, the driver and the passenger next to him were intoxicated, and the crane entered the side street uncontrollably. The crane, which was able to stop after hitting buildings and vehicles, caused a loud noise. Citizens living in the buildings that were hit by the crane panicked, thinking there had been an earthquake due to the noise. The frightened residents who rushed out into the street immediately reported the situation to the police. As a result of the crane's impact, 2 buildings were damaged, and 2 cars became unusable.
"WE ALL SCREAMED BUT IT DIDN'T STOP AT ALL" Varol Güzey, who was in his apartment when the crane hit his building, said, "I was just about to sleep. My friend drove the crane into the street. I shouted that this crane can't pass through this street. As you can see, it's a narrow street. My friend didn't hear me at all. It went hitting our building, then the neighbor's building, and the neighbors' cars. We all screamed, but it didn't stop at all. We went downstairs. My friends had drunk a lot; they were completely drunk. At that moment, we called the police. The police came and took reports. It was around 00:00. There was a lot of noise. The building shook as if it was an earthquake. They drove a crane into a street where a taxi couldn't enter. We are filing a complaint. We are all at a loss. Our government should punish them. Thank God there were no children on the street. We experienced fear," he expressed.
Yakup Alkan, one of those whose vehicle was damaged, said, "We were lying down. We woke up to the noise. We shouted to try to stop it. It didn't stop. It was probably drunk. The neighborhood poured out. There is damage in the apartment as well," he said.

I heard a noise while I was on the balcony on the upper floor. I saw that it was dragging cars, including my own car at the back. It tried to drag and turn more, but it couldn't turn. It stayed there. Our cars are ruined. Our apartment has also been seriously damaged. We don't know the individuals. It was a large crane. After the drivers got out, a large number of alcohol bottles were seen inside the vehicle. They could hardly stand. Everyone in the apartment came out saying there was an earthquake. There was a very serious shaking and noise," he said.
After the crane was removed from its location, the damaged vehicles were also able to be rescued from where they were. The police teams have launched an investigation into the incident.
