Bahçeli reiterated his request regarding Öcalan: There is no need for fear, we are ready as the MHP.

In a statement during his party's group meeting, MHP leader Devlet Bahçeli said, "I must reiterate once again; the process of deputies selected from the commission established in the Parliament going to İmralı to receive the necessary messages firsthand will significantly strengthen the process. The Nationalist Movement Party is ready to participate in such a delegation."

The Chairman of the Nationalist Movement Party (MHP), Devlet Bahçeli, made striking evaluations regarding the current issues at his party's weekly group meeting in the Grand National Assembly of Turkey (TBMM).

Bahçeli stated that the members of parliament selected from the commission established for the process of a terror-free Turkey should go to İmralı, saying, "I must reiterate once again; the process will be significantly strengthened if the members of parliament selected from the commission established in the Assembly go to İmralı to receive the messages needed directly from the first source. The Nationalist Movement Party is ready to participate in such a delegation. There is no need to fall into fear, anxiety, hesitation, or contradiction. Until today, İmralı has kept its word and stood behind its statements," he said.

Continuing his speech, Bahçeli addressed the claims of a crisis within the People's Alliance, stating, "I find it beneficial for everyone to know this: There is neither a difference of opinion nor a political conflict between the Nationalist Movement Party and the People's Alliance around the goal of a 'Terror-free Turkey.' However, those who portray a constant crisis in the People's Alliance have not tired of saying 'there is a crack'; they have never given up on the lies of 'the framework is broken,' 'there will be a rupture,' 'it is over, it is ending.' As long as we water the steel, as long as we are united in our love for the homeland and the nation; the readers of intentions, from the Republican People's Party to other opposition parties, from half-portion thinkers to commentators swinging like a pendulum in ideological obsession, some columnists, and social media provocateurs, speak as if they are reading a daisy fortune. No matter what they do, no matter what they say; the unity, integrity, and determination of the People's Alliance are above all kinds of slander, lies, and discord," he said.

Highlights from Bahçeli's statements;

"With the spirit of mobilization; without falling into concessions and hesitation, without delay, we work as if we are breathing when necessary. We extend our hand to every good person in our nation, and we open our hearts. We listen to our citizens and express our thoughts. We are ready and present in all the organizations we have established. We continue our political activities with faith, excitement, and the principle of justice.

"WE WILL KNOCK ON EVERY DOOR, WE WILL WIN EVERY HEART"

In this context, under the call of the theme 'Centennial Unity, Endless Brotherhood'; we met with our citizens within the scope of the 'Terror-free Turkey' process, talked, and shared our thoughts on the hot topics on the agenda. We took the pulse of our people. To eliminate the question marks that arise and grow in people's minds, we acted with the understanding that 'effort is ours, success is from Allah.' Indeed, we achieved very important and effective results.

We calmed the responsible faces, the consciences dragged into confusion and contradiction; with honest responsibility, sincere touches, and the work we carried out with civil society. We organized discussion meetings with the understanding that 'your pain is our pain'; we conducted home and workplace visits through face-to-face meetings.

We will knock on every door in Turkey, all the way to our villages; we will enter every home, we will win every heart. We will either be a remedy for the troubles or we will share them. We explained the goals of the Nationalist Movement Party and the People's Alliance; we listened to the problems and shared solutions. Even if troubles pour down like rain, we are here and we are present. Even if problems are tangled, we are still here; we are always by the side of our nation and at their service. We are the Nationalist Movement Party and the People's Alliance. We will not leave anyone alone with their troubles.

The violence in Sudan is a massacre. The massacre they are subjected to is at a level that cannot be compared to Gaza.

"ISRAEL IS CONTINUING ITS GENOCIDE"

The main issue is the implementation of the ceasefire agreement made and the commitment of the conflicting parties to their signatures. However, in the face of Israel's untrustworthy military and political stance, it is an inevitable necessity to act cautiously and prudently. At this stage, it has become clear that the summit held in Egypt and the decisions taken have been violated by Israel. Israel has insidiously continued its genocide process and has struck civilian settlements again.

Israel, which does not comply with the temporary ceasefire and does not refrain from killing the innocent, has once again certified that it is a country that cannot be trusted regarding its words, signatures, commitments, and promises. The Zionist banditry that violates the ceasefire decision with fabricated justifications continues its bloody operations without pause and raises the bar each time. Look at this disgrace: Since the ceasefire decision was made, 254 defenseless people, mostly women and children, have been taken from life.

The statements of the President of the United States regarding the ceasefire in Gaza being 'not fragile, but very solid' are the endless delusions of a politician who has lost touch with reality, has fallen into a dream world, and is arbitrary and biased. If the ceasefire is not fragile, how will the attacks of the country continuing its genocide be explained?

REACTION TO TOM BARRACK

The statement of the United States Ambassador to Turkey and Special Representative for Syria, Tom Barrack, in Manama, the capital of Bahrain, is a severe mental lapse of an ambassador who dares to interfere in the political course of the country he serves. On what basis, with what right and authority does he claim that we will cooperate with Israel when the account of the crime of genocide has not yet been settled, the perpetrators have not been held accountable, and a two-state model has not been established? Foreign mission officials serving in our country must know the laws, customs, and sensitivities of the country they serve. There should be no crossing of lines and borders.

The efforts of some circles to sabotage the Terror-free Turkey process, by provoking emotions, are considered null and void in our view.

The National Unity and Brotherhood Commission established in the Grand National Assembly of Turkey has reached the end of its work. I hope that the legal and political steps to be outlined will be established with broad consensus. Of course, the thoughts and opinions of the founding leader of the PKK should be taken in the final stretch, and the futile discussions that have been ongoing for days should be concluded.

"THE NATIONALIST MOVEMENT PARTY IS READY TO PARTICIPATE IN THE DELEGATION"

I must reiterate once again; the process will be significantly strengthened if the members of parliament selected from the commission established in the Assembly go to İmralı to receive the messages needed directly from the first source.

The Nationalist Movement Party is ready to participate in such a delegation. There is no need to fall into fear, anxiety, hesitation, or contradiction. Until today, İmralı has kept its word and stood behind its statements.

Indeed, when we carefully look at the developments following the call for 'Peace and Democratic Society' on February 27, it will be clearly understood what we mean.

Finally, as of September 26, 2025, the announcement of a group of militants leaving our country and the complete withdrawal of the affiliated organization clearly shows that significant developments are manifesting in the aim of strengthening the environment of peace and security.

We have many reasons to be hopeful and excited about the future, and they are all evident.

CLAIM OF CRISIS IN THE PEOPLE'S ALLIANCE

The PKK's continuation of its existence by entering another body of murder and malice will completely contradict the goals of 'Terror-Free Turkey' and 'Terror-Free Region'. Along with the close monitoring of the potential imminent threat to the political and territorial integrity of our Turkey and Syria, it is an acute necessity to prevent this on the ground.

I also see it beneficial for everyone to know this: There is neither a difference of opinion nor a political conflict around the goal of 'Terror-Free Turkey' between the Nationalist Movement Party and the People's Alliance.

However, those who portray the People's Alliance as being in constant crisis have not tired of saying 'there is a crack'; they have never given up on the lies of 'the frame is broken', 'there will be a rupture', 'it is over, it is ending'.

As long as we water the steel, as long as we are united in our love for the homeland and the nation; the readers of intentions, who speak like reading a daisy fortune, extend from the Republican People's Party to other opposition parties, from those with half a portion of reason to commentators swinging back and forth in ideological obsession, to some columnists and social media provocateurs.

Because, on the dark night of July 15, shining like a pole star, standing like a monument in the squares, such a moral and virtuous political alliance is not accustomed to their bodies, and their minds cannot comprehend it.

No matter what they do, no matter what they say; the unity, integrity, and determination of the People's Alliance are above all kinds of slander, lies, and discord.
