Before the Ajax-Galatasaray match in the UEFA Champions League, a notable step was taken by the Dutch team. Ajax announced that 1000 tickets have been declared invalid due to black market suspicions.
1000 TICKETS CANCELLED DUE TO BLACK MARKET SUSPICIONS
In a statement from the club, it was noted that tickets purchased or transferred through illegal means were identified. In this context, the entry rights of approximately 1000 fans to the match have been revoked.
Ajax management announced that sanctions would be applied to fans who violated ticket sale conditions. Additionally, it was stated that fans who are banned from entering the match would also face a fine of 450 euros.
SECURITY MEASURES INCREASED
Before the match to be played at Johan Cruijff Arena, the club increased security measures to prevent Galatasaray fans from entering the stadium through different routes. Furthermore, information was provided to fans who opened memberships after August 28 or transferred tickets from others. Ajax emphasized that the cancelled tickets would not be reactivated and that these individuals should not come to the stadium.
THIS HAS HAPPENED BEFORE
Ajax had previously made a similar decision before the match against Galatasaray in the UEFA Europa League. At that time, approximately 600 tickets were cancelled due to black market suspicions.
