HE BUILT AN ASTRONOMY LIBRARY FOR STUDENTS According to a report in Korkusuz Newspaper, Kılıçer, who has been in Eskil since 2017, mobilized many resources for the students in the district. In 2022, Kılıçer built an astronomy library on land owned by the General Directorate of National Property in cooperation with the previous Eskil Municipality administration.
THE MAYOR BUILT A RESTAURANT INSTEAD OF A LIBRARY The two-story library, which provided a significant advantage to students in the field of science, also served as a local center for retirees. With the arrival of the new Eskil Mayor Mustafa Zavlak, the library was closed. Instead of the library, which was used as part of the project and owned by the General Directorate of National Property, a restaurant was built.

FOUND HANGING FROM THE CEILING AT HOME Kılıçer, who was assigned as a teacher at a school in Aksaray, reportedly fell into depression. Due to being unreachable after being called multiple times by a teacher friend working at the same school in Eskil, a teacher friend went to his house yesterday morning and found İbrahim Kılıçer hanging from the ceiling, motionless.
HE HAD 3 CHILDREN, ONE OF WHOM WAS DISABLED The situation was immediately reported to the 112 Emergency Call Center. Upon the notification, 112 health and police teams were dispatched to the scene. The teams that arrived at the house determined during their examination that Kılıçer had lost his life. Kılıçer, who had served in the district for a long time and was a beloved figure in his community, caused great sorrow with his death. It was learned that Kılıçer was married and had three children, one of whom was disabled.
