In 2022, Kılıçer built an astronomy library on land owned by the General Directorate of National Property in cooperation with the previous Eskil Municipality administration.

Due to being unreachable after being called multiple times by a teacher friend working at the same school in Eskil, a teacher friend went to his house yesterday morning and found İbrahim Kılıçer hanging from the ceiling, motionless.
HE HAD 3 CHILDREN, ONE OF WHOM WAS DISABLED The situation was immediately reported to the 112 Emergency Call Center. Upon the notification, 112 health and police teams were dispatched to the scene. The teams that arrived at the house determined during their examination that Kılıçer had lost his life. Kılıçer, who had served in the district for a long time and was a beloved figure in his community, caused great sorrow with his death. It was learned that Kılıçer was married and had three children, one of whom was disabled.
