Bruce Willis withdrew from Hollywood in 2022 due to a diagnosis of aphasia. Last year, it was announced that his illness had progressed to frontotemporal dementia (FTD). Former colleague Glenn Gordon Caron stated that Bruce is no longer fully verbal and does not read as he used to.
