Former co-chair of the HDP, Selahattin Demirtaş, who is currently imprisoned in Edirne, shared a photo of himself with Ismail Haniyeh, who was assassinated in Tehran, stating, "Every life spent in resistance against oppression is meaningful and honorable. Haniyeh, one of the leaders of the Palestinian people, will always be remembered in this way. I condemn the cowardly assassination of Haniyeh and pray for his soul."
The assassination of Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh in the Iranian capital Tehran raises the possibility of the war spreading regionally, and former co-chair of the HDP Selahattin Demirtaş did not remain indifferent to what happened.
HE SHARED A PHOTOGRAPH WITH HANIYEH
Demirtaş, who is imprisoned in Edirne Prison, shared a photograph taken with Ismail Haniyeh and a note written on paper, saying, "Every life spent in resistance against oppression is meaningful and respectable."
The following is included in Demirtaş's note: "Haniyeh, one of the leaders of the Palestinian people, will always be remembered in this way. The Netanyahu government has long exceeded the limits of lawlessness, immorality, and baseness. I condemn Haniyeh's cowardly assassination and extend my condolences to his family and the entire Palestinian people."
