The DEVA Party, the Saadet Party, and the Future Party's merger attempt, which did not yield results in the discussions, has been concluded. The three parties are expected to come to the Parliament as the DSG Democracy Platform. The discussions held with the deputies of the Saadet and Future Parties, established as the 6th group of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey (TBMM), have reached the final stage regarding the Saadet-Future Parliamentary Group. It was claimed that during the meetings of the leaders of the three parties last night, it was decided to act with a targeted unity, and an agreement was reached on the formation of the group. In the discussions, Davutoğlu initially gave up on his insistence on being a presidential candidate, which he had previously put forward in earlier negotiations. It was learned that the three leaders decided that this issue would be determined during the election process. It was reported that in the tripartite meeting, it was decided that it would be more appropriate for the parties to be represented in the Parliament under the name of the DSG Democracy Platform within the framework of a "Targeted Unity" agreement. GROUP CHAIRMAN MAHMUT ARIKANAccording to the news from Gerçek Gündem, it was learned that Mahmut Arıkan would be the chairman of the newly formed DSG Group, and it was agreed that there would be a group vice-chairman position requested from the Parliament, along with the three parties having a group vice-chairman, thus creating a strong structure with 34 deputies. Additionally, it was agreed that the three parties would act together in the upcoming election process, create a joint program, and work to be a new political alternative on the right.
