Disturbing possibility about missing Narin Güran: She may have seen something she shouldn't have seen, something she shouldn't have been a witness to.

While search efforts continue for 8-year-old Narin Güran, who went missing in the central Bağlar district of Diyarbakır, retired Police Chief Haydar Özdemir made a striking statement during a live broadcast.

"WE HAVE IMPORTANT EVIDENCE"

Turkey has been waiting for good news from 8-year-old Narin for days. After the family of Narin Güran, who went missing on August 21 in the rural Tavşantepe neighborhood of Bağlar district in Diyarbakır, reported the incident to the authorities, efforts were made to find the little girl. All developments related to the missing girl have been followed for days. Most recently, Diyarbakır Provincial Gendarmerie Commander Brigadier General Selçuk Yıldırım stated, "We are very close to a result. We have important evidence, we will find her," while it was learned that one person was also detained in connection with the incident.

"STATEMENTS TO BE TAKEN ARE VERY VALUABLE"

While everyone is waiting for good news from Narin, retired Police Chief Haydar Özdemir made a striking evaluation during a live broadcast on Ekol TV. Özdemir emphasized the importance of searches to be conducted at the point where Narin went missing, saying, "Wherever Narin went missing, that is, the last place she was seen or her residence, which is said to be within a distance of 50 meters. Searches to be conducted in this area are very valuable. Starting with the family; statements to be taken from the parents, siblings, uncles, aunts, that is, people she knows, are also very valuable. Then we document it with technical devices. For example, security camera footage, which was somehow obtained for Narin's last security camera footage. Then PTS records, work related to vehicles were carried out through her. Our colleagues are also conducting studies related to the presence of stream beds and wells in this area, both due to incoming tips and natural conditions. But in the end, HTS records, which are the signals given by that mobile phone, who was in that area at that time, what kind of incident Narin encountered, are among the questions that we will find a solution to," he said.

In continuation of his statement, Özdemir asked the question, "What could have happened to Narin?" and said, "Narin may have been subjected to sexual abuse. On the other hand, when we look at it from another perspective, she may have seen something she shouldn't have seen. In other words, instead of being kidnapped, Narin may have been eliminated in order to prevent her from witnessing or to eliminate her in relation to her witnessing that could cause trouble for other individuals," he said.

NOTABLE STATEMENT FROM THE MOTHER

Meanwhile, Narin's mother made striking statements during her participation in the program "Didem Arslan'la Vazgeçme" (Don't Give Up with Didem Arslan). However, the broadcast was suddenly cut off when the mother mentioned that a dog had been harmed. In her statement, the mother said, "I didn't say it because they would suspect us. That day, my son who was going to the military and his two friends were smoking tobacco in our backyard and harming a dog. I said, 'Don't do it, it's a sin.'"
