The Communications Center for Combating Disinformation announced that the claims regarding "TFF removed the National Anthem application in matches" are completely false. It was emphasized that the regulation only concerns entering the field with banners, and there has been no change in the National Anthem application.
The Presidential Communications Directorate's Disinformation Combat Center (DMM) denied the claims that "TFF removed the National Anthem application from matches."
"THE PRACTICE OF PLAYING OUR NATIONAL ANTHEM BEFORE MATCHES CONTINUES WITHOUT ANY CHANGES"
In a statement made on DMM's social media account, it was stated: "The claims circulating on some social media accounts that 'The Turkish Football Federation (TFF) removed the National Anthem application from matches' are completely false. The decision taken by TFF has nothing to do with the playing of our National Anthem. The practice of playing our National Anthem before matches continues as specified in TFF directives, without any changes."

In the statement, it was emphasized that the regulation in question is only aimed at ending the practice of entering the field with banners during the pre-match ceremony and warm-up period, and it was recorded as follows: "This decision was implemented to ensure compliance with UEFA's and FIFA's global stadium and match operation practices. The regulation also took into account requests from clubs and players. It is kindly requested not to give credence to manipulations that aim to create public outrage by exploiting social sensitivities."
