The Kuwaiti Ministry of Defense announced that three soldiers were lightly injured in an attack carried out by drones on Ahmed Al-Jaber Air Base. It was also reported that material damage occurred around the base.
The war that began with the attacks of the USA and Israel on Iran continues to affect the countries in the region. Most recently, the Kuwaiti Ministry of Defense announced that drone attacks were carried out against their country.
In a written statement by Kuwaiti Ministry of Defense Spokesman Colonel Saud Abdulaziz al-Atwan, it was noted that air defense systems detected 7 "enemy" drones from dawn today.
"WE DESTROYED 3 DRONES"
The statement indicated that 3 of the mentioned drones were destroyed, while 2 fell outside the threat area and did not pose any danger.
"3 PERSONNEL INJURED"
The statement mentioned that two enemy drones targeted Ahmed al-Jabir Air Base, and as a result of the attack, some material damage occurred around the base, and 3 personnel belonging to the armed forces were lightly injured, receiving necessary treatment and their health status is stable.
The Kuwaiti Armed Forces emphasized in the statement that they are fully prepared to protect the country's security and defend its sovereignty.
USA-ISRAEL'S ATTACKS ON IRAN
Israel and the USA launched a military attack on Iran on February 28 while negotiations were ongoing between Tehran and the Washington administration.
Iran responded with attacks on targets it identified in some regional countries, including Qatar, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), and Bahrain, where US bases are located, in addition to Israel.
In the USA-Israel attacks, Iranian leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, as well as many high-ranking officials, were killed.
According to Iranian officials, the death toll in the USA-Israel attacks has exceeded 1,348, and the number of injured has surpassed 17,000.
