Some candidates wishing to take the Higher Education Institutions Exam (YKS) in Adana experienced significant distress when they confused the school names on their exam entrance documents. Students who went to the wrong school due to name similarity were not allowed to take the exam as they could not reach the exam hall on time.

The incident occurred in the Çukurova district of Adana. On the exam day, some candidates interpreted the phrase "Çukurova Borsa İstanbul Primary School" as the similarly named school located in the Belediye Evleri neighborhood instead of the school in Kurttepe neighborhood. The existence of two different schools with the same name led students to head to the wrong address.
