During an asphalt work in the Yenice district of Karabük, 37-year-old Servet Kayaoğlu lost his life after being electrocuted by a truck trailer that came into contact with electric wires. One worker was also injured in the incident, while Kayaoğlu was laid to rest.

HE WAS ELECTROCUTED DURING ASPHALT WORK
The incident occurred yesterday in the İsmetpaşa neighborhood. During the asphalt paving work, Servet Kayaoğlu and Yasin Ö., who were in the truck's dump, were electrocuted when the dump came into contact with electrical wires. Two workers were injured, and health and police teams were dispatched to the scene. After the initial intervention by the health teams, Servet Kayaoğlu was taken to Yenice State Hospital, where he could not be saved.
HE WAS LAID TO REST
The injured Yasin Ö. was transferred to Karabük Training and Research Hospital for treatment. The truck driver was taken into custody. Servet Kayaoğlu's funeral was held today at noon after the prayer performed at the Aşağıdüz Mosque in the İsmetpaşa neighborhood of Yenice, and he was buried in the family cemetery.
