As millions are focused on the first meeting of the Minimum Wage Commission to be held this Friday, a striking survey result has been shared. In a survey where hundreds of people were asked, "What should the minimum wage be at least?" the percentage of those who want it to be increased to 33,150 TL with at least a 50% increase was recorded as 66.2% in the AK Party, 85.3% in the CHP, 68.6% in the MHP, 77% in the İYİ Party, and 82.4% in the DEM Party.
The results of MetroPOLL Research for November show that a large portion of the public agrees on the increase of the minimum wage. According to the survey, 74.5% of participants argued that the net minimum wage should be raised to at least 33,150 TL with a 50% increase, regardless of political party affiliation. This demand was supported by 66% of AK Party voters, 85% of CHP voters, and 68% of MHP voters.
"HOW MUCH SHOULD THE MINIMUM WAGE BE AT LEAST?"
