The CEO of social media platform X, Linda Yaccarino, announced that she has decided to resign.

Yaccarino shared a post on her X account regarding the matter. In her post, Yaccarino explained that after two incredible years, she has decided to resign as CEO of X, stating, "When Elon Musk and I first discussed his vision for X, I knew that it would be the opportunity of a lifetime to fulfill this company's extraordinary mission. I am extremely grateful to him for entrusting me with the responsibility of protecting free speech, restructuring the company, and transforming X into 'the everything app.'

Noting that X is a "digital town square" for all voices, Yaccarino said, "We couldn't have achieved this without the support of our users, our partners, and the world's most innovative team. While you continue to change the world, I will be here supporting all of you."

GROK'S POSTS HAD SPARKED REACTIONS

It is noteworthy that Yaccarino's resignation came after the inappropriate posts of Grok, the AI robot integrated into X.

With the update made over the weekend, there was a significant change in the responses given by the chatbot Grok.

Previously avoiding responses that included profanity and insults, Grok drew reactions with inappropriate posts on various topics after the update.

The addition of various features such as "not hesitating to make claims even if politically incorrect" negatively affected Grok's responses.

In a statement made from Grok's X account, it was expressed that they were aware of the recent posts and were actively working to remove them.

Grok, which users tagged to ask questions on X, also provided inappropriate responses to users in Turkey, making posts that included profanity and insults about various individuals and topics.

ELON MUSK: THE ISSUE IS BEING ADDRESSED

The billionaire owner of social media platform X, Elon Musk, made a statement about the platform's AI, Grok.

Musk stated in a post from X, "Grok was too compliant with user prompts. In fact, it was very eager to please and be manipulated. This issue is being addressed."
