After being treated for excessive alcohol consumption, 56-year-old Şeref Yeşilbaş, who collapsed while sitting at a bus stop after leaving the hospital in the İlkadım district of Samsun, passed away.

A citizen arriving at the bus stop in front of Gazi State Hospital in İlkadım district reported the situation to the 112 Emergency Call Center upon seeing Şeref Yeşilbaş motionless. The teams dispatched to the scene determined that Yeşilbaş had passed away.

ADMITTED TO HOSPITAL DUE TO EXCESSIVE ALCOHOL AT NIGHT

The police, in their investigation, found that around 05:30, health teams brought Yeşilbaş to the hospital due to excessive alcohol consumption, where he received oxygen support and sedative treatment.

In the investigation conducted by the City Security Management System (KGYS), it was determined that Yeşilbaş walked towards the bus stop after being discharged from the hospital and fell to the ground there. Yeşilbaş's lifeless body was taken to the Samsun Forensic Medicine Group Presidency for autopsy.

It was stated that the exact cause of death of Şeref Yeşilbaş would be determined after the autopsy. The police investigation regarding the incident is ongoing.
