Bilateral relations as well as regional, international issues of common interest discussed, says Egyptian Presidency.

Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi and Malaysian Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin spoke via video conference Thursday, according to the Egyptian Presidency.
The spokesman for the Presidency said in a statement that the two leaders discussed ways to enhance cooperation between their countries and addressed the most prominent issues of common interest at the regional and international levels.
Yassin particularly emphasized Malaysia's willingness to improve cooperation with Egypt in the fields of education, commerce, industry and economy, the statement said.
The latest developments in Palestine and the rebuilding of Gaza were also discussed, said the statement, noting that the two countries agreed on the intensification of bilateral coordination.
Sisi, for his part, praised the state of relations between Egypt and Malaysia and said he welcomes the opening of new horizons for cooperation with Malaysia, especially in industry and commerce.
