In a statement made by the Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, the following was stated: "Based on the instructions given within the scope of the investigations conducted by the Terror Crimes Investigation Bureau of our Chief Public Prosecutor's Office; it has been determined that 8 suspects, who participated in organizational activities held within the borders of Ankara on various dates in compliance with the calls/instructions given by the PKK/KCK armed terrorist organization, or made propaganda for the terrorist organization's methods of coercion and violence in a glorifying manner and in a way that legitimizes these methods through social media accounts identified as belonging to them, have been decided to be simultaneously detained starting from February 12, 2025. The operations for the capture of the suspects and their transfer to our Chief Public Prosecutor's Office are being continued by the teams of the Ankara Provincial Police Department's Anti-Terrorism Branch."
