Ekrem İmamoğlu: If we lose the election, we will lose because of our own incompetence.

The Mayor of Istanbul, Ekrem İmamoğlu, made statements at the CHP Provincial Chairpersons Meeting. "We all need to realize that the upcoming elections cannot be won by the government," said Ekrem İmamoğlu, stating that the only reason for the opposition to lose the election would be their own incompetence.

"THERE IS ONLY ONE REASON FOR THE PROCESS WE LOST..."

In his statements, İmamoğlu said, "The country is under such heavy conditions that we all need to realize that the upcoming elections cannot be won by the government. If we are to lose from now on, we will lose. There is only one reason for the process we lost: It could be our lack of foresight, our incompetence, or our laziness. On the contrary, every member of the CHP should stand out as a hardworking, virtuous, and trustworthy individual. The responsibility of the CHP continues," he stated.

İmamoğlu also stated, "Our nation wants to give us authority in the first election, that is clear. It is our duty to meet this demand of the people and to increase the trust placed in us. We will focus on the qualities and policies that have made us the hope of the nation as the leading party. We will concentrate on how we can enhance those policies. We will make it felt that we do not act with a partisan mindset, that we see all our citizens as equal. We will not hesitate to explain our work and projects. In any province where you are in opposition, it is about loudly proclaiming a good job done as if it were your own work," he said.
