Energy and Natural Resources Minister Alparslan Bayraktar, who met with media representatives in Ankara, stated, "We will increase our natural gas production in the Black Sea to 20 million cubic meters per day by 2026." Minister Bayraktar also made a statement that reassured citizens regarding electricity and natural gas prices.



Bayraktar said, "There will be no increase in electricity and natural gas prices until the beginning of the year," and added, "Electricity and natural gas support will be redefined in 2025."



In response to the question of what would happen if Iran's energy facilities were attacked, Bayraktar replied, "If there is an attack on natural gas pipelines, there may be a problem with supply security."



Minister Bayraktar denied the allegations that 'aircraft fuel was sent to Israel.'



DAILY ELECTRICITY PRODUCTION AND CONSUMPTION DATA



According to AA, Turkey produced 765,960 megawatt-hours of electricity yesterday, while consumption was recorded at 751,816 megawatt-hours. According to the data from Turkey Electricity Transmission Corporation, the highest electricity consumption occurred at 20:00 with 36,890 megawatt-hours, while the lowest consumption was at 08:00 with 26,462 megawatt-hours.



On a daily basis, 765,960 megawatt-hours of electricity was produced yesterday, and consumption was recorded at 751,816 megawatt-hours.



In production, imported coal plants ranked first with a share of 24.5%. This was followed by natural gas with 17.5% and dam-based hydroelectric plants with 14.7%.



Turkey exported 16,273 megawatt-hours of electricity and imported 2,130 megawatt-hours yesterday.
