Vivian Wilson, the 20-year-old daughter of Tesla's billionaire founder Elon Musk, announced that she plans to leave America following Donald Trump's presidential election victory. Vivian, who has long been at odds with her father, stated that she no longer considers living in the U.S. now that Trump is president. Born as a boy named Xavier in 2004 to Musk's first wife Justine Wilson, Vivian applied to the court for gender change in 2022, chose the name Vivian Jenna Wilson by taking her mother's surname, and expressed her desire to sever all ties with her father. Musk described his daughter as a "communist against the rich" and claimed he was misled regarding puberty-blocking drugs. He alleged that during the chaos of the COVID-19 pandemic, he approved these drugs under the pretense that his son Xavier (Vivian) might commit suicide. In response to her father's claims, Vivian made strong statements. She noted that her father was not present during her childhood and that she was constantly harassed due to her feminine traits and sexual identity during their brief time together. "My dad is trying to fit me into a simple mold. This clearly shows his perspective on queer individuals and children," she said.
