NOW screens' beloved series Şakir Paşa Family: Miracles and Scandals has been widely discussed with its special episode. Serra Şenol Boyvat, the granddaughter of Turkey's first contemporary ceramic artist Füreya Koral from the Şakir Paşa family, was a guest in the special episode.

Boyvat, who portrayed a writer conducting an interview for a memoir, faced off against her grandmother's childhood in the scene she guest-starred in. According to Birsen Altuntaş, Boyvat experienced emotional moments when she encountered Füreya Koral, who was 3 years old at the time the series is set and portrayed by child actress Zeynep Konç.
