In a speech at the Family Year Promotion Program in Beştepe, President Erdoğan reacted to the wish lists presented to young people considering marriage. Erdoğan stated, "With the widespread use of social media platforms, we are witnessing the introduction of new customs to the old village. There are such demands and such lists being put forward that our young people are afraid of starting a family, and their hopes are shattered even before they begin their journey."

Expressing that the interest-free loan support of 150,000 TL to be given to young couples getting married has been implemented in all 81 provinces, Erdoğan also shared the details of the regulation on birth assistance.

"WE WILL IMPLEMENT HOUSING SUPPORT PROGRAMS"

Erdoğan stated, "Marriage support will be implemented in all 81 provinces. We are increasing the one-time birth assistance we provide for the first child to 5,000 TL. For the second child, it will be 1,500 TL per month, and for the third and subsequent children, it will be 5,000 TL per month. We will provide child assistance for the second and subsequent children born without any conditions, and these will be deposited into our mothers' accounts every month. We will also implement housing support programs for our young couples."
