Panathinaikos and Turkey's national basketball team head coach Ergin Ataman was hospitalized due to a cough complaint after the match against Peristeri.

The Greek team Panathinaikos announced that head coach Ergin Ataman was hospitalized due to illness.

HE DID NOT ATTEND THE PRESS CONFERENCE, WENT TO THE HOSPITAL

According to the statement, Ataman's condition is not concerning, and the successful coach is expected to return to his duties shortly. After the 104-68 victory, Ergin Ataman, who had a cough complaint, was sent to the hospital for tests. As a result, he did not speak to ERT after the match. The experienced coach's assistant, Christos Serelis, stated that he took Ataman's place at the press conference held after the Peristeri match.

Panathinaikos, which will host Maccabi next Tuesday, will travel to Bologna for the EuroLeague match against Virtus on Friday.
