European Stocks Close Mostly In Positive Territory

Except for UK, all major indices close were up.

All European markets, except for the UK, closed with gains on Thursday.

The STOXX Europe 600, which includes around 90% of the market capitalization of the European market in 17 countries, rose 2.45 points, or 0.51%, to 483.35.

The UK's FTSE 100 index ended at 7,585.01, down 4.65 points, or 0.06%.

Germany's DAX 30 was up 0.65%, or 102.61 points to 15,912.33.

France's CAC 40 increased 0.30%, or 21.18 points, to 7,194.16 points.

Italy's FTSE MIB was up 199.15 points, or 0.73%, at 27,570 and Spain's IBEX 35 was up 39.7 points, or 0.45%, to 8,814.6.

Almost all markets in Asia closed Wednesday with gains following China's interest rate cut and record-high foreign trade figures in Japan.

Turkiye's BIST 100 index closed at 2,014.21 points, down 1.36%. -
