A pedestrian was injured after being hit by a pickup truck in Aksaray. The injured young woman, while health teams were intervening, forgot about her injury and told her friend, "Don't tell my parents anything."
In Aksaray, 23-year-old Medine D. told her friend "Don't tell my parents anything" while forgetting her injury before being taken to the hospital. An investigation has been launched regarding the accident.
VAN, YOUNG WOMAN STRUCK
The accident occurred on Aşık Molla Street in Paşacık Neighborhood. According to the information obtained, a Volkswagen pickup truck with license plate 34 FM 1871, driven by Halil K. (30), hit Medine D. (23), who was trying to cross the street. The young woman was thrown onto the road by the impact, and citizens who witnessed the accident reported the situation to the 112 Emergency Call Center.
"DON'T TELL MY MOM"
Upon notification, police and medical teams were dispatched to the scene. The police teams, who arrived at the accident site shortly, took security measures on the road while the medical teams provided first aid to the woman lying on the road. The young woman, writhing in pain from the injuries to her legs, forgot her pain and told her friend, "Cansu, don't tell my mom."
After the initial intervention, the young woman was taken to Aksaray Training and Research Hospital by ambulance, and it was learned that her health condition was good. The driver was taken to the police station for a statement by the police teams. The police have launched an investigation into the accident.
