The severe storm that hit Kocaeli even overturned vehicles weighing tons. On the Dilovası connection road of the North Marmara Highway, 2 trucks and a van that could not withstand the wind tipped over, blocking the road, and traffic towards Ankara came to a near standstill.

As vehicles lost control due to the storm, they blocked the road, resulting in long vehicle queues in the area. Gendarmerie teams dispatched to the scene upon notification took security measures and ensured controlled vehicle passage.
