Explosion at military depot in Cuba: 13 soldiers missing.

It has been reported that 13 soldiers are missing following an explosion at a military depot in the Melones region of Cuba. Search and rescue teams have been dispatched to the scene, and 500 residents in the area have been evacuated.

According to initial reports following the explosion at a military supplies depot in Cuba, 13 soldiers are unaccounted for. In a statement from the Ministry of the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Cuba (Minfar), it was noted that military supplies exploded for an undetermined reason at the depot located in the Melones area of Holguin province.

500 PEOPLE EVACUATED FROM THE AREA

In the statement, it was expressed that 13 soldiers could not be reached after the explosion, and it was reported that a large number of search and rescue teams were dispatched to the area. Authorities emphasized that the families of the missing soldiers have been informed and that the Armed Forces are taking utmost care to resolve the incident. As part of the measures taken by the Holguin Provincial Defense Council and the Ministry of Armed Forces, approximately 500 people living in areas close to the incident site were evacuated as a precaution.
