Turkish Embassy in Belgrade condoles over tragic incident.

A Tuesday explosion in a munitions factory in Serbia's capital Belgrade killed at least two and injured 16 workers, police said.

The explosion rocked Bubanj Potok town in south of Belgrade, where the factory produces rocket fuel and several other munitions, including turbojets.

The warehouse was completely destroyed, leaving a crater in the ground, and firefighters managed to pull five people from the rubble.

The injured workers were moved to hospitals with severe burns.

Meanwhile, the Turkish Embassy in Belgrade expressed condolences over the tragic incident.​​​​​​ "We express our condolences to the families of the victims and wish a speedy recovery to the wounded," it said in a statement. -
