These agreements were primarily made with Asia-based companies and did not provide any real financial contribution to the club. However, they managed to bypass FFP rules by being presented as income on paper.
According to a report that emerged in Italy, the Milan team made approximately 300 million Euros in fake sponsorship agreements to breach Financial Fair Play between 2016 and 2019.
