The decision of the Public Officials Arbitration Board, which includes the financial, social, and personal rights to be applied to civil servants and retirees in the years 2026-2027, has been published in the Official Gazette. Accordingly, civil servant salaries and civil servant pension monthly payments will be increased by 11% + 7% for 2026 and 5% + 4% for 2027. On the other hand, Memur-Sen and Kamu-Sen, which left the negotiation table, did not sign the board's decision.
The decision made by the Arbitration Board, which convened for the 4th time, and the announcement of the 8th Term Collective Agreement have been published in the Official Gazette and have come into effect.
Accordingly, the majority of those attending the Public Officials Arbitration Board meeting decided to increase civil servant salaries and civil servant pension payments by 11% in the first 6 months of 2026, 7% in the second 6 months, 5% in the first 6 months of 2027, and 4% in the second 6 months.
2 UNIONS DID NOT SIGN THE BOARD'S DECISION
Members of the Civil Servants Trade Union Confederation (Memur-Sen) and the Turkish Public Employees Trade Unions Confederation (Türkiye Kamu-Sen), who left the table by objecting to the increase rates, did not sign the decision of the board convened under the chairmanship of the President of the Court of Accounts, Metin Yener.
