Famous actress Algı Eke's statement about 'Ayşe Barım':

17.01.2025 10:50

The actor Algı Eke spoke about Ayşe Barım, who is said to dominate the industry and influence many famous names. Eke revealed that Ayşe Barım purchased the rights to a play they staged and made a film with her own actors.

Famous actress Algı Eke spoke about Ayşe Barım, who is accused of causing monopolization in the industry and hindering the work of many actors unfairly.

Ayşe Barım, who manages many famous actors and is the founder of ID İletişim, has been in the spotlight for days due to allegations that she has caused monopolization in the industry. The Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office has initiated a self-initiated investigation against the famous manager and imposed a travel ban on Barım. After many famous names shared the injustices they faced from Barım, confessions came one after another.

Famous actress Algı Eke also shared her own experience.

"SHE BOUGHT THE RIGHTS AND PLACED HER OWN ACTORS"

Speaking on the YouTube program called Kutsal Motor, Algı Eke stated:

"I staged a play called '10 Seconds'. This play, which we performed together with Nergis Öztürk, was on stage for about 2-3 years. Ayşe Barım bought the rights to this play from the author Erdi Işık and made a movie with her own actors. In fact, this was entirely a theatrical work. After Ms. Ayşe acquired the rights, she placed her two actors in the project. The saddest part here stems from a situation directed towards us. Because we are people with an audience in front of the screen. You wouldn't include someone who doesn't have a screen presence in a film; I can understand that. However, theater is a different field, and the situation is not the same here. Anyway, these kinds of issues are always the same; unfortunately, they don't change."
