In the scope of a drug operation targeting celebrities, famous influencer Mesut Can Tomay and 3 others were detained on charges of drug trafficking. After his proceedings at the prosecutor's office, Tomay was referred to the court, where he stated in his testimony that he ordered the drugs for himself and, out of fear, hid the drug-filled bag in a cabinet containing his friend's natural gas meter.

Famous influencer Mesut Can Tomay ordered drugs to the residence where he lived. Tomay hid the drug substance found in a bag inside the cabinet containing the natural gas meter of his suspect friend Mustafa T., who lived in the same building. Site staff noticed the bag and were searching for its owner, then reported the situation to the police. Upon realizing the situation, the influencer Mesut Can Tomay invited suspect Süleyman Ç. to his home to retrieve the bag and asked him to take it. After police determined that the owner of the bag was Mesut Can Tomay, they detained the influencer at his address. Following his procedures at the police station, Mesut Can Tomay was referred to the courthouse.
"I ORDERED IT"
In his statement at the prosecutor's office, Mesut Can Tomay stated that he was the user of the drug, saying, "Because I was afraid of the drug operation targeting celebrities that was reflected in the public, I did such a thing." Expressing that he did not want to be associated with the drug issue, Tomay said in his petition that he staged such an incident because of this and expressed regret.

After his statement at the prosecutor's office, Mesut Can Tomay was referred to the Criminal Court of Peace.
