70 ANIMALS PERISHED
While the farm workers managed to rescue some of the animals in the barn, 60 of the animals were small livestock and 10 were large livestock, totaling 70 animals that died from burning and smoke inhalation. The fire was extinguished with the intervention of the Yumurtalık and Ceyhan Fire Department teams, and cooling efforts continued until the evening hours.
In addition to the burned animals, many agricultural tools, trailers, and farming machinery within the farm were rendered unusable due to the fire.
