While the war between Iran and the US and Israel continues, it has emerged that the FBI has warned security units about the possibility of surprise drone attacks in California using unmanned aerial vehicles launched from the sea as a potential retaliation by Iran. However, officials stated that there is currently no concrete or imminent threat.

As the war between Iran and the US and Israel enters its 12th day, it has emerged that the FBI sent a warning to security units in the US last month regarding possible Iranian retaliations.

WARNING ISSUED FOR DRONE ATTACKS

According to a security bulletin obtained by Reuters, the FBI warned law enforcement agencies that Iran might conduct surprise drone attacks in California in retaliation for US attacks on Iran.

The classified warning text distributed by the FBI through the Los Angeles Joint Regional Intelligence Center became public following the extensive bombardment launched by the US and Israel against Iran on February 28.

"CAN BE LAUNCHED FROM A SHIP AT SEA"

The bulletin included information that as of early February, Iran may have been planning to carry out surprise attacks on targets in California using drones launched from a ship at sea in the event of a US attack on Iran. However, it was also emphasized that there was no specific intelligence regarding the timing, method, target, or perpetrators of the attack. The FBI declined to comment on the matter.

TRUMP: I AM NOT CONCERNED

US President Donald Trump downplayed the possibility of Iran launching an attack on US soil in response to a question from reporters at the White House. Trump stated, "No, I am not concerned."

ALERT STATUS IN CALIFORNIA

California Governor Gavin Newsom announced that there is no immediate threat in the state, but they are in constant coordination with security units. In a statement on his social media account, Newsom said, "We are not aware of any urgent threats at this time, but we are closely monitoring potential risks in our state."

Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass also stated that there is no specific or credible threat in the city, but they are working closely with local police and federal security units.

WAR SPREADS TO THE REGION

As the US and Israel's attacks on Iran quickly turned into a regional conflict, Iran also launched missile and drone attacks on Gulf countries where Israeli and US bases are located. It was reported that some American soldiers lost their lives in an attack on a US base in Kuwait on the second day of the war. In a threat assessment prepared by the US Department of Homeland Security, it was stated that Iran and its affiliated groups could carry out targeted attacks against the US, but the likelihood of a large-scale attack is low.
