One of the legendary names of Arabesque music, Ferdi Tayfur, passed away at the age of 79 due to liver and kidney failure. A memorial ceremony was held for Tayfur on Saturday at the Atatürk Cultural Center. After the ceremony, a funeral prayer was held for Tayfur at the Barbaros Hayrettin Paşa Mosque in Levent. During the funeral ceremony, a dispute broke out between Ferdi Tayfur's daughter, Tuğçe Tayfur, and the master artist's niece, who is also his press advisor, Şirin Gözalıcı. While curses were flying in the air at the head of the coffin, those around reacted to the fight. CONTROVERSIAL WORDS FROM TUĞÇE TAYFUR'S HUSBANDAfter Ferdi Tayfur's death, Tuğçe Tayfur's husband, Muhammet Aydın, made a striking post on his social media account, stating, "Don't talk nonsense behind my back without experiencing what I have gone through. Walk the paths I have walked. If you can come back, we can talk face to face. What God says will happen." Aydın's video that circulated on social media drew reactions. In the video, while threatening Ferdi Tayfur's fans, Aydın said, "They are Ferdi Tayfur fans. Who the hell are you? I am not afraid of anyone, I am a different kind of model, not a man you can threaten. Come on, go play over there."
