Fernando Muslera, who transferred to the Süper Lig in the 2011-12 season, bid farewell to Galatasaray. The yellow-red players honored the Uruguayan goalkeeper by carrying him on their shoulders as he left the field in the 88th minute, replaced by Günay Güvenç, amidst great applause. Muslera left the field wearing the number 25 jersey he first donned when he joined the team.
GREAT CHEERS BEFORE THE MATCH
Before the Galatasaray - RAMS Başakşehir match, after stepping onto the field to warm up, Galatasaray fans gave a strong round of applause for Fernando Muslera. The fans chanted "Great captain" and "This fanbase is proud of you" for the 38-year-old goalkeeper, who received a long-standing display of affection. Additionally, the yellow-red fans unveiled a banner behind the goal that read in Spanish, "You will always be our legend."

Completing his 14th season at Galatasaray, Muslera played his 551st official match in the yellow-red jersey. Having set many records, Muslera experienced 8 Süper Lig, 5 Ziraat Türkiye Kupası, and 6 TFF Süper Kupa championships during his Galatasaray career.
