The first response to the United States' decision to impose a 25% tariff on imported automobiles came from Ferrari. Ferrari announced that it would raise prices across all vehicle categories.

The Italian luxury sports car manufacturer Ferrari has announced plans to increase the prices of some of its cars sold in the U.S. by 10 percent. In a statement from Ferrari, it was noted that the company will update its commercial policy based on the current preliminary information regarding the imposition of additional customs duties on cars produced in the European Union (EU) in the U.S.

THE INCREASE RATE WILL BE 10 PERCENT

In the statement, it was conveyed that, in coordination with the dealer network in the U.S., the prices of all models imported after April 2 will be increased by a maximum of 10 percent, while it was stated that the prices of all cars imported before April 2 will remain unchanged. It was also emphasized that the commercial conditions for all Ferrari 296, SF90, and Roma models will remain the same regardless of the import date. The statement shared that "there is a potential risk of a 50 basis point decrease in profitability percentage margins (the main earnings indicator before interest and taxes)." Ferrari produces all its models at its facility in Maranello, located in northern Italy.
