A marriage dispute between two related families in the Esenyurt district of Istanbul turned into a brawl. In the fight, which involved the use of sticks and knives, 25-year-old Burak A. lost his life, and 4 people were injured.
In the Esenyurt district of Istanbul, a marriage dispute between two related families turned into a bloodbath. In the incident where men and women attacked each other with sticks, a 25-year-old young man who was stabbed died in the hospital. The moments of the fight, in which 4 people were also injured, were captured on camera.
THE INCIDENT OCCURRED BETWEEN TWO RELATED FAMILIES DUE TO A MARRIAGE ARRANGEMENT
The incident took place yesterday around 5:00 PM in the Saadetdere neighborhood of Esenyurt. According to the information obtained, a dispute arose between the two related families due to the marriage of the young people. In a short time, dozens of people from both families attacked each other. Family members who damaged the other side's vehicle with sticks then attacked their relatives. In the fight, an individual named Y.C.G. stabbed 25-year-old Burak A. in two places with a knife, while H.A. was also hospitalized after being hit with a stick.
POLICE TEAMS HAVE INITIATED AN INVESTIGATION REGARDING THE INCIDENT
It was learned that all parties involved in the incident had numerous criminal records, while nearby citizens reported the situation to the police and medical teams. The medical teams that arrived at the scene took Burak A. and H.A. to the hospital. From the other side, the injured M.C.G., F.G., and M.G. were also treated in the hospital, and it was reported that their lives were not in danger.
Burak A., who was taken to the hospital due to knife wounds sustained during the fight, could not be saved despite all interventions. It was stated that the other injured individuals were not in life-threatening condition, while police teams initiated an investigation regarding the incident.
