A person named Mustafa Ç. stated to a buyer who contacted him to purchase the Tesla he had listed for 2,420,000 lira that the advertised price was no longer valid and that the price of the vehicle was 2,700,000 TL.

In an incident that became a hot topic on social media, in the messages exchanged between the seller and the buyer, the person selling his vehicle responded, "Baby, if you can prove that I sold it for that price, they will impose that fine. Also, send my regards," after the buyer objected to the price difference and stated he would file a complaint about the advertisement.
THE MINISTRY OF TRADE IMMEDIATELY IMPOSED THE FINE
Bekir Kaplan, Press Advisor of the Ministry of Trade, announced through a post on his social media account that it was determined that marketing was being conducted above the current sale price in the relevant advertisement, and it was decided to impose an administrative fine of 279,375 TL for the advertisement.
