A fire broke out at a chemical factory operating in the industrial zone of the Kemalpaşa district of İzmir. A security guard working in the industrial area noticed smoke coming from the back of the chemical factory while on his routine patrol.
FLAMES ROSE
Shortly after smoke spread in the area, flames began to rise. Upon the security guard's report, 7 fire trucks and 1 water tanker from the İzmir Fire Department were dispatched to the scene. With the intense intervention of the teams, the flames were brought under control within an hour.
While there were no casualties or injuries, it was reported that there was significant material damage to the factory. While cooling efforts continued, an investigation was also initiated to determine the cause of the fire.
