A fire broke out in the area where caravans and bungalows are located in Fethiye district of Muğla. While the fire was brought under control by the teams, dozens of caravans and bungalows were reduced to ashes.
According to the information obtained, the fire in the area where caravans and bungalows are located in Katrancı Bay Nature Park in Yanıklar Neighborhood was caused by electrical equipment, according to initial assessments.
BUNGALOWS AND CARAVANS TURNED TO ASHES
The fire quickly spread to the surrounding forested area. The flames engulfed dozens of bungalows and caravans that were in close proximity. Upon seeing the smoke, citizens reported the incident, and a large number of fire, forestry, and gendarmerie teams were dispatched to the area. The teams intervened in the flames that affected both the caravans and bungalows as well as the forested area.
NO LOSS OF LIFE OR INJURIES REPORTED
After intense intervention, the fire was brought under control. It was learned that damage assessment would be conducted following the work in the fire-affected area. It was reported that there were no casualties or injuries in the fire.
