President Erdogan spoke at the 2nd Communication Summit. In his statement, referring to the Ahbap operations and Haluk Levent without naming names, Erdogan said, "It very clearly shows us what operations were staged against the state and the nation during the February 6 earthquakes. It shows us how ill-mannered types sing their tunes from outside. It reveals who has what distorted relationships with whom. Those who engaged in political and economic opportunism by exploiting the earthquake are now answering to justice."
President Recep Tayyip Erdogan made statements at the 2nd Communication Council at ATO Congresium.

"I am very pleased to be with you at the opening of the 2nd Communication Council. I commemorate with mercy those who lost their lives during their idealistic and self-sacrificing work, especially those martyred in Gaza by Israel. We initiated the preparatory work for the council last year. Over the course of a year and a half, we completed the work through an intensive schedule, including workshops and other events. Our public institutions, universities, media and civil society organizations, private sector; in short, all actors of the communication community played active roles in this process. A total of 425 valuable experts in their fields worked with great dedication in 16 separate working groups, bringing new and effective solutions to current issues. I especially express my gratitude to my young brothers and sisters who enriched the content of the council with their original and innovative ideas, broadened our horizons and imagination.
"THE FINAL DECLARATION WILL SHAPE TURKEY'S FUTURE VISION"
The final declaration to be published tomorrow will shape Turkey's future vision and, hopefully, further strengthen our country's national and international communication capacity. New media tools have significantly increased the speed of information production and access. Especially with the introduction of artificial intelligence models, I am benefiting from the advantages provided by these technologies in every field.
"SOCIAL MEDIA DETERMINES OUR REACTIONS"
Social media platforms significantly determine how much we focus on a particular issue and what reactions are given.
This new environment carries the risk of destroying our values and culture, with effects ranging from the individual level to the social scale. The gap between fact and perception is widening. The most damaged concept is truth. However, the purpose of communication is to deliver accurate information to the recipient in the quickest way possible.

The sacrifices of our personnel were ignored. All kinds of immorality were displayed in an attempt to pit the state against the nation. The information and documents that have come to light in recent weeks clearly show us what operations were carried out against the state and the nation during the February 6 earthquakes. They show us how ill-mannered individuals recite verses from the outside. It reveals who has what distorted relationships with whom. Those who used the earthquake for political and economic opportunism are now accounting to justice.
We see the fight against all forms of disinformation as a matter of national security. Today, disinformation has become an element that weakens the sense of unity and trust in societies. We will continue our fight against disinformation with determination.
