Fires in three different provinces of Turkey have threatened natural areas and caused disruptions in transportation. While the fires in Uşak and Edirne have been brought under control, efforts are being made to combat the flames from the air and on the ground in the Nilüfer district of Bursa.

Meanwhile, another fire broke out in the stubble area of Küçükdöllük village in Edirne. With the effect of the wind, the flames quickly spread to the pasture area.
VILLAGERS ALSO TRIED TO STOP THE FLAMES WITH WATER TANKERS AND TRACTORS
Upon notification, the Forest Management Directorate, Edirne Municipality Fire Department, AFAD, gendarmerie, Highways, and TOMA from the Edirne Police Department were dispatched to the area. Villagers intervened in the fire with water tankers while trying to prevent the spread of flames by plowing the stubble and pasture areas with tractors.
HAMZABEYLİ BORDER GATE ROAD CLOSED
As the fire spread to the pasture and stubble areas of Korucuköy and Kayapa villages in Lalapaşa district, police teams closed the Hamzabeyli Border Gate road to two-way traffic. Drivers were redirected to alternative routes that do not pose a fire risk.
CONTROLLED
After a prolonged struggle by the teams, the fire was brought under control and extinguished. After the flames were controlled, the road leading to Hamzabeyli Border Gate was reopened to traffic.
1000 DECARES OF LAND DAMAGED
Approximately 1000 decares of stubble and pasture land were damaged in the fire.
FIRE IN UŞAK'S AGRICULTURAL LAND SPREAD TO FOREST AREA: 2 DETAINED
In Uşak, a fire broke out in the agricultural land near Derbent village due to a hay baling machine. The rapidly growing fire, influenced by the wind, spread to the forested and shrub areas.
The fire, which was intervened with 6 helicopters, 2 planes, 3 bulldozers, and many water tankers, was brought under control. In the investigation conducted by the gendarmerie regarding the fire, the landowner O.A. and the owner of the hay baling machine R.B. were detained.
