A forest fire broke out in the district of Eceabat in Çanakkale. Due to the fire, the 57th Regiment Cemetery and Conkbayırı are closed to visitors, while teams are intervening from the air and land.

A fire broke out in the forest near Büyükanafarta village in the district of Eceabat around 10:00. The fire spread to a wide area due to the effect of the wind. Upon notification, numerous teams affiliated with the Çanakkale Forest Regional Directorate were dispatched to the area.
