The former mayor of Eski Bağlar, Hüseyin Beyoğlu, has been arrested.
In the trial held at Diyarbakır 10th Heavy Penal Court, the detained defendant, former Director of Urban Planning of Bağlar Municipality, Fırat Kılıç, was present. However, the defendants, former mayor Hüseyin Beyoğlu and former deputy mayor Sıddık Aycıl, who are not in custody, did not attend the hearing.
ARREST WARRANT ISSUED
In the indictment prepared by the public prosecutor, it was stated that there is strong evidence that the defendant Kılıç committed the alleged crime and there is a risk of flight. Considering these factors, the public prosecutor expressed the opinion that the current judicial control measures would be insufficient and requested the continuation of the detention. The complainant, Nusret B., also demanded the punishment of the defendants and the detention of the defendants who are not in custody. The court decided to continue the detention of Kılıç and issued an arrest warrant for Beyoğlu.
