A 13-year-old child who entered the Alpaslan-1 Dam Lake in Muş and 4 people, including one child, who tried to rescue him, drowned and lost their lives.
Three people who tried to rescue a child who entered the dam lake in Muş drowned while searching for a missing person continues.
According to the information received, the Karakaya family, who resides in the Bostankent village, went to Alpaslan-1 Dam Lake for a picnic. When Rabia Karakaya (13) who entered the lake was in danger of drowning, other family members entered the water to save her. Yasin (18), Edanur (20), and Fatma Karakaya (22) along with Eylül Tekin (15) who entered the lake disappeared in a short time.
THE LIFELESS BODIES OF 4 PEOPLE WERE FOUND
As a result of the efforts made by the AFAD teams and the local people who were dispatched to the scene upon notification, the lifeless bodies of Rabia, Yasin, Edanur Karakaya, and Eylül Tekin were found. The bodies of those who drowned in the water were taken to the morgue of Muş State Hospital for autopsy. The search for Fatma Karakaya, who disappeared in the water, is still ongoing.
