The images of the Turkish flag mistakenly hung instead of the national flag at the building of the state railway company SNCFT in Tunisia caused a great uproar. According to the information obtained, the 4 individuals who hung the flag were arrested by the court they were taken to.

According to local news in Tunisia, four people mistakenly raised the Turkish flag instead of the Tunisian flag at the headquarters of the national railway company. The error quickly spread on social media, with users questioning how nobody in the railway company noticed this mistake. One user shared a message asking if the Tunisian people were unaware of this issue and demanded an explanation from the authorities. In response to the reactions, the prosecutor's office initiated an investigation and four individuals were detained. It has been reported that the four individuals have been arrested by the court they were presented to.

The company, SNCFT, apologized for the confusion, stating that it was caused by the accidental inclusion of a foreign flag among the newly acquired Tunisian flags. The institution emphasized that the national flag is a "noble symbol of sovereignty and national unity" and expressed that such mistakes are unacceptable.

Additionally, President Kais Saied, who has been accused of promoting nationalism, decided to dissolve the Tunisian swimming national team due to the incorrect display of the flag during a sports competition.
