The President of İBB, Ekrem İmamoğlu, and the Mayor of Ankara, Mansur Yavaş, were criticized by MHP Chairman Devlet Bahçeli regarding the discussions about presidential candidacy. He stated, "For mayors to abandon their duties and aspire to the presidency from today, boasting with the nonsense of polls is, first and foremost, ingratitude to Istanbul and Ankara, and cowardice on their part."

BAHÇELİ'S BITTER WORDS TO İMAMOĞLU AND YAVAŞ

MHP Chairman Devlet Bahçeli targeted İBB President Ekrem İmamoğlu and Ankara Mayor Mansur Yavaş through the discussions about presidential candidacy. Criticizing the mayors for abandoning their jobs to aspire to candidacy, Bahçeli said it was ingratitude.

Bahçeli used the following expressions: "The astronomical way in which CHP municipalities squander treasury resources on musical entertainment and concert festivals, while when it comes to our citizens, they only offer a bowl of soup and a plate of rice, is disgraceful.
