Galatasaray lost 3-0 to Venezia in their final friendly match of the Austria camp.
Galatasaray, continuing their new season preparations in the Austrian camp, faced Serie A side Venezia in a friendly match.
At the Hofmann Personal Stadium in Linz, as part of the Summer Series Upper Austria organization, the Italian club won the match 3-0.
Goals in the match were scored by Yeboah (71') and Lauberbach (75' (P), 90+2) for Venezia.
Meanwhile, in the 32nd minute, Venezia's Correia was injured and replaced by Sagrado. For Galatasaray, in the 80th minute, Barış Alper Yılmaz received a yellow card following a dispute.
The yellow-red team's head coach Okan Buruk started the match with the lineup: Jankat, Sallai, Arda Ünyay, Abdülkerim Bardakcı, Kazımcan Karataş, Kaan Ayhan, Torreira, Yunus Akgün, İlkay Gündoğan, Eren Elmalı, and Osimhen.
At the start of the second half, Berat Luş replaced Kazımcan Karataş. In the 62nd minute, Sara, Nelsson, Nhaga, Barış Alper, and Ugochukwu came on for Kaan Ayhan, Arda Ünyay, Torreira, Yunus Akgün, and İlkay Gündoğan.
In the 78th minute, Buruk chose Yusuf Sivaslıoğlu to replace Sallai, and in the 79th minute, he brought on Jelert, Eyüp Aydın, and Sane for Eren Elmalı, Abdülkerim Bardakcı, and Osimhen.
After the Austrian camp, the yellow-red team will return to Istanbul and play friendly matches at RAMS Park against French side Rennes on Sunday, August 2, and Spanish side Villarreal on Saturday, August 8.
Galatasaray have had one win and one loss in their two pre-season friendlies. The yellow-red team defeated Ümraniyespor 5-1, but lost 2-0 to Monza in Austria. With the Venezia match, they have also recorded a draw in their pre-season friendlies.
